Springfield College-School of Professional and Continuing Studies enrolls 643 undergrads

At Springfield College-School of Professional and Continuing Studies, 96 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 79 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Springfield enrolled 904 students in fall 2018, including 643 in undergraduate and 261 in graduate programs, data shows. 21.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (49 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (22 percent).
