Cost of college went up for all students at American International College

Tuition and fees rose 3.5 percent for 2018-19 at American International College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Massachusetts students paid $35,680 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,210 more than the $34,470 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 367 students received grants or scholarships totaling $9.8 million and 312 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (3,152), 1,304 students used grants or scholarships totaling $31.4 million, and 1,115 students took out $8.2 million in federal student loans.
