Mary Dooley Lecture: Charism on the Move
Mary McGlone is a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Originally from Denver, entrance into the congregation uprooted her and broadened her vision beyond what the congregation had imagined. Since entering the congregation, she has worked in campus ministry in St. Louis and Green Bay, in pastoral work and seminary teaching in Peru, earned a doctorate in historical theology, taught at Avila University and been involved in mission work in Central America. The most unexpected addition to her experience has been a 25 year plus involvement with the Sisters of St. Basil the Great in Romania. She also had the privilege of spending seven years researching and writing a two-volume history of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the United States. She is currently a member of Carondelet’s Congregational Leadership Team.
