Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Executive Director of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management (PBRM) Patrick Sullivan announce the return of ‘Movies in the Park,’ the city’s public movie nights being held in Springfield’s parks this summer. The movie series will begin on Monday, July 10th and end on Friday, July 28th, with all showings at 8:15 p.m. There will be no rain dates. The complete movie schedule is below.

Mayor Sarno stated, “My administration is committed to continuing to enhance the quality of life for our residents with these types of family fun entertainment.  What better way to celebrate summer than with this great family friendly activity, outdoors in our beautiful parks. I want to thank Patrick Sullivan and his dedicated Parks team for their efforts in making this annual tradition such a tremendous success every year.”

Patrick Sullivan stated, “We appreciate Mayors Sarno’s commitment to restore programming and activities for our residents. Movies in the park provide an opportunity for the whole family to be together under the stars and enjoying time together. Bring your favorite movie snack, a blanket, chairs and have a good time!”
