Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “It was a pleasure to once again be with the members of the Prince Hall Sumner Lodge #5 Accepted Free Masons, which includes former speedy High School of Commerce point guard ‘Fast Eddie Anderson,’ retired Sheriff’s Department staff Bobby Hartsfield, and member of the Board of Police Commissioners Robert “Cee” Jackson to name a few.”

“From their humble headquarters at 257 Tyler Street, they have quietly, and without fanfare, been able to continue to assist our Springfield community families through support services for youth mentoring, our elders, park maintenance efforts and safe havens for families effected by violence to name a few of their community outreach activities. My administration looks forward to continued collaboration with the Prince Hall Sumner Lodge #5 members to enhance their overall community efforts.”
