The historic grounds of Springfield Armory National Historic Site will be swinging to the sounds of big band music on Saturday, July 15th from 6 – 8 p.m. Bring a lawn chair, a picnic dinner, and your dancing shoes. Enjoy a free, energizing, twilight jazz and blues orchestra performance on the lawn in front of the Commanding Officer’s Quarters.

The Bad News Jazz and Blues Orchestra, led by Jeff Gavioli, will perform this free concert on the Armory grounds beginning at 6 p.m. The Bad News Jazz and Blues Orchestra is a 19-piece orchestra that has been performing since 2012, playing swing music from the 1930s and 1940s.
