Saturday, March 29: West Springfield High School standout Chris Torres’ college team loses to East Tennessee State Buccaneers

On Saturday, March 29, former West Springfield High School standout Chris Torres’ current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6:35 p.m. at Fifth Third Park against Wofford Terriers.
