Test expectations: How many Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District students failed to meet the English MCAS expectations in 2022-23 school year?

Of the 716 students who took part in the English Language Arts portion of the MCAS, 60.1% scored below proficiency in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

In comparison, 36.6% met the subject benchmarks and 3.4% exceeded them.

The number of Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District students who failed their English Language Arts assessments rose by 0.9% from the previous school year.
