Former Westfield High School standout Emma Lapoint played on Thursday, May 15 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Westfield High School standout Emma Lapoint’s current collegiate team the Worcester State Lancers won 2-10 against the Moravian Greyhounds in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Blue & Grey Softball Field at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Moravian Greyhounds in the tournament.

The Worcester State Lancers’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m. at Blue & Grey Softball Field.
