Former Westfield High School standout Emma Lapoint played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Westfield High School standout Emma Lapoint’s current collegiate team the Worcester State Lancers lost 4-6 against the Eastern Eagles in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Blue & Grey Softball Field at 4:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Eastern Eagles in the tournament.

The Worcester State Lancers’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m. at Blue & Grey Softball Field.
