Of the 394 students who took part in the MCAS, 18.3% met the testing standard while 1.3% exceeded expectations, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The number of Springfield International Charter District students who met or exceeded expectations fell by 14.4% from the previous school year.

Springfield International Charter District roughly covers schools within Hampden County and has a main office in Springfield.

In the 2022-23 school year, 200,905 students took the science test in Massachusetts with 86,558 students passing, 1.5% less than the year before.
